Hello,

I’m Noémie (pronounced ‘No-eh-me’), a Mental Health social worker and supervisor working on Turrbal and Yagerra lands, in Brisbane, Queensland.

I have been working alongside people since 2005 to improve access to justice, dignity and meaningful life experiences.

I am a warm and compassionate person, who strongly believes in each person’s innate ability to heal themselves through the power of connection.

I work with children, young people, adults and families and provide animal assisted therapy with my playful and loving dog Tango (certified therapy dog, Therapy Dog Australia).

It takes a lot of courage to engage in therapy. My practice focuses on providing a safe space where each person is seen and heard for whom they are rather than being seen through the lenses of the issues they face or society’s expectations or assumptions.
